Anaheim, CA, NAMM 2023TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik is showcasing and demonstrating a selection of their prized microphones at NAMM 2023, Booth #16205.  

 

ELA M 251E Large Diaphragm Recreation of the Legendary Tube Microphone 

Meticulously accurate reissue of one of the most legendary tube condenser microphones of all time featuring an edge-terminated dual backplate CK-12 capsule with 1″ dual-sided gold-sputtered membrane. Complete systems include a locking flight case, power supply, tube mic cable and wooden mic box. 

TF11 FET Stereo Set 

 Frequency and gain matched pair of the 2022 TEC Award-winning microphone. The compact, cardioid only TF11 is versatile, portable, and dependable for all recording environments from home to studio to stage. Each system includes matched TF11 microphones, shock mounts, stand mounts and a carrying case. 

ELA M 260 Master Stereo Set 

The small diaphragm ELA M 260 features a circuit design based around a premium NOS (New Old Stock) EF732 vacuum tube and a custom output transformer. The matched stereo set is a studio staple due to its natural presence and high level of detail and clarity, especially in acoustic and classical applications. 

M60 Master Set 

The M60 FET is a reinterpretation of the classic phantom-powered pencil mic, featuring an exceptional transient response and SPL handling capabilities. The Master set includes interchangeable TK60 Cardioid, TK61 Omnidirectional and TK62 Hypercardioid capsules with shock mount, windscreen and zipper carrying case. 

DC7 Drum Package 

The TELEFUNKEN DC7 is a 7-piece microphone package design for drums in the studio and on the stage. Microphones include the M82 handling kick drum duties, the M80-SH on snare, three M81-SH for toms and a matched pair of M60 FET for overheads.

TF47

 With a deep low end and a forward midrange, the TF47 delivers a warm and punchy sound reminiscent of the U47 and M49. Each system features switchable cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8 polar patterns via a remote power supply, tube mic cable, elastic shock mount and zipper case.

The LIVE FROM THE LAB live music video series is recorded and filmed at TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik’s facility in South Windsor, CT. Each session is tracked live exclusively with TELEFUNKEN microphones and features unique performances from a variety of local, regional, national, and international artists and ensembles.

The multitrack audio files from these sessions are available for free download via clickable links below the individual performance videos. All audio files are presented in .WAV format and were recorded at 24bit / 48KHz sample rate. They are clearly labeled in the same format with the source listed first (LEAD VOX, ACOUSTIC, PIANO), followed by the microphone used (C12, AR-51, etc) and can be downloaded and imported into your Digital Audio Workstation of choice.
