Effective May 2026, the ELA M 260 Cardioid Stereo Set and ELA M 260 Master Stereo Set will ship with updated system configurations focused on a new power supply and flight case design.
The previous configuration’s larger FC60S locking flight case and heavier M 960S dual power supply have been removed from these stereo systems.
The updated packages now feature the more compact M 902S dual power supply and a newly designed lightweight ZC60S softshell zipper case.
M 902S Dual Power Supply
Designed and assembled in the USA, the new compact M 902S dual power supply delivers safe, reliable operation in a reduced footprint. The circuit design features premium-grade capacitors, improved regulation, and enhanced RF suppression performance. The unit is capable of powering two ELA M 260, TF29 Copperhead, or CU-29 Copperhead tube microphones simultaneously.
Each unit is hand-built in South Windsor, Connecticut, using high-quality components including a Triad transformer, Nichicon capacitors, and Neutrik connectors. The PCB layout is engineered to maximize current handling, and each unit is built well beyond standard specifications to ensure long-term reliability and safe operation. Every power supply is fully burned in as a complete system to ensure optimal performance and consistency.
ZC60S Zipper Case
The new ZC60S softshell zipper case is designed to carry the complete system in a smaller, lighter, and more portable format. It accommodates both microphones, two cables, two elastic shock mounts, the dual power supply, removable capsules, and additional accessories, all while significantly reducing overall size and weight compared to previous configurations.
