THE FRIENDS OF HEUBLEIN TOWER, INC is pleased to announce the dates and stellar roster for the 11th annual HIKE TO THE MIC – Music and Arts Happening at the Heublein Tower, Talcott Mountain State Park – September 13 & 14 from 11 am to 6:30 pm both days.
This donation suggested event will reward those who journey the trails through Talcott Mountain State Park to the Heublein Tower with great musical entertainment, fantastic food and the “royal view” from one of Connecticut’s premier destinations.
The performers for HIKE TO THE MIC XI are Jaimoe with Friends of Brothers, Ruby Left Step, Headcase, Kirk Scully, Dov Beck Levine, Jeffrey Johns Band, Moto, KC Sisters, Riley Cotton & the Tin Men, and Nott Logical. Once again Chris Casey will curate Sunday morning’s jazz segment.
Local Connecticut artist Nate Hansen will also be live painting throughout the event.
Food vendors include Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, Harry’s Bishop Corner Pizzeria and Beau’s Burger Shack who will be grilling burgers and dogs in the Eisenhower Pavilion. New England Coffee Guy will be there with their fabulous brews.
A fantastic raffle is also planned, games for the kids along with spin art and s’mores. All proceeds from the Hike to the Mic XI will benefit the restoration and enhancement of the iconic and treasured Heublein Tower.
A special Night Before the Hike is also on tap at the Talcott Collective, 140 Nod Road in Simsbury for Friday September 12, which will feature performances from Will Evans, bringing his conscious kindness and kind folk spirit to the collective stage, Americana favorite Michael Stamford Day and the Hard Feelings, along with a special late night groove set by up and coming neo-soul artist Zaya Marz.
The Heublein Tower in Talcott Mountain State Park is unquestionably one of the most unique settings in New England for a concert event and will once again provide the perfect back drop for the eleventh annual Hike to the Mic – September 13 & 14, 2025.

By providing time, talent and financial assistance, the Friends of Heublein Tower supplement the state of Connecticut’s efforts in restoring, improving and interpreting the Heublein Tower and its surrounding grounds. The restored Tower serves as a museum and a place of learning, gathering and exploration for the educational and social benefit of those who visit.
