M1c
TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik is in the final design and proto-type stages of the new M1c "cardioid only tube microphone." Employing a NOS TELEFUNKEN EF-95 tube and custom wound output transformer the M1c brings TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik's opulent audio quality to the masses at a price even the most humble home/project studio can easily afford!! We fully anticipate production to begin on this exciting new addition to the TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik family of products in the fall of 2010.
M-80 Wireless
Due to the phenomenal success of the M-80 we have been getting all kinds of requests for a wireless version of the microphone. Currently we have the technology in place to modify Shure Bros.® wireless systems to accept M-80 capsules and transformers [we just modified over 30 of them for Green Day's current world tour]. Partnering with a different well known company that is famous for their superior transmitter / receiver systems the M-80 Wireless should be available by the end of 2009.
The TELEFUNKEN ELA M 80
TELEFUNKEN Elecktorakustik proudly introduces the ELA M 80 dynamic microphone. This newly designed microphone combines a low-mass voice coil with a super thin mylar membrane and a high quality step-up output transformer. It is available in two versions: the standard version, which comes with a bag and a mic clip. The M-80 Studio comes with a wooden mic box, mic clip, and an additional black headgrill. Both versions are currently in available and are ready to ship. The TELEFUNKEN R-F-T M216 Stereo
TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik is pleased to announce the latest microphone design in the R-F-T Series, the M216 Stereo tube microphone system.
The M216 Stereo features a matched pair of 1-inch dual sided capsules, a New Old Stock tube, two custom wound output transformers (also found in the R-F-T M16mkII tube mic), and a custom power supply. The M216 Stereo is a revolutionary departure from traditional stereo microphone design, capable of numerous analog microphone techniques including XY, M/S, and dual mono applications. The top capsule is capable of nine different polar patterns, from Cardioid, to Omni, to Figure 8, and everything in between, resulting in an almost infinite number of stereo imaging possibilities. The bottom capsule is fixed in cardioid pattern.
Each M216 Stereo microphone comes complete with a 10-meter Gotham Audio Cable, wooden mic box, power supply and a 4-Year Limited Warranty. A matching flight case is also available at an additional charge. For full description, visit the M216 Stereo product page.
TEC Award® Win for ELA M 260
TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik is proud to have received the TEC Award for Studio Microphone Technology at the latest AES convention in San Francisco, for our small diaphragm tube condenser microphone, the TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik ELA M 260. This is the fifth time TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik has been nominated for a TEC Award, and the second time we have been honored to receive the award.
