South Windsor, CT, June, 2005 — Telefunken's R-F-T M16 Mk II microphone has been nominated for this year's TEC Award for Studio Microphone Technology. The annual TEC Awards are hosted by the Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio. Telefunken's new large diaphragm condenser microphone is a low-cost alternative to the Telefunken microphones which have gained popularity among today's top producers and engineers. The R-F-T product line was created earlier this year to address the needs of broadcasters, Do It Yourself Audio Enthusiasts and the project studio market.
