Lawrence Manchester, music mixer for "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon", has picked the M 80 dynamic microphone from TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik as his preferred vocal mic for guest musical artists. "I needed a vocal mic that could meet the challenges I encounter with our particular stage and setup," he explained.

"With close monitor wedges and a loud PA, getting clarity and isolation from the vocals is an ongoing challenge," Manchester commented. "The direct sound-to-leakage ratio is far better than other mics I have tried and on our small stage the Telefunken M 80 gives me the best shot at getting the vocals present in the mix."
